Rises and falls in sea-level which occur twice every 24 hours 50 minutes, caused by the gravitational pull exerted on the oceans by the Moon and Sun. The highest, spring, tides occur when the Earth, Moon and Sun are in a straight line. The combined gravitational pull of the Moon and Sun makes high tides higher and low tides lower. The lowest, neap, tides occur when the Moon, Earth and Sun form a right angle.

Tidal Wave: Although tidal waves travel across oceans at an extremely high speed, the height of the waves in the open sea is very low. The distance between the crests of the waves can be very long, perhaps 150 km apart. They can often pass under ships without their presence being noticed.

Milk provides the primary source of nutrition for young mammals produced by the mammary glands of mammals. The early lactation milk known as colostrum carries the mother’s antibodies to the baby. It can reduce the risk of many diseases in the baby. The raw milk significant amounts of saturated fat, protein and calcium as well as vitamin C.

Milk is consumed by two ways – as a natural source of nutrition for all infant mammals and a food product for humans of all ages derived from other animals.

For ages, cow’s milk has been processed into dairy products such as cream, butter, yogurt, kefir, ice cream, and especially the more durable and easily transportable product, cheese. With modern technologies, industrialists produce casein, whey protein, lactose, condensed milk, powdered milk, and many other food-additive and industrial products.

Humans consume more amount of milk, despite the fact that more than 75% of adult humans are lactose intolerant, a feature more common among individuals of African or Asian descent. The enzyme lactase needed to digest lactose reaches its highest levels in the small intestines after birth and then begins a slow decline unless milk is consumed regularly. So children need to take good amount of milk continuously for better health.

The largest producer and consumer of cattle and buffalo milk in the world is India. In the Western world today, cow’s milk is produced on an industrial scale, and is by far the most commonly consumed form of milk.
